![]() ![]() Parental Guide: See my other reviews of this series. That's why I read most of the series but rated them low. The conclusion being, there's plenty of contradictions - sometimes I'm intrigued and enjoying the story and sometimes I'm frustrated. Her magic is interesting, but sometimes too powerful and sometimes not enough. I don't like Salvador, but I do like him, at least a little. ![]() She always knows what to say and how to react to Tomas and anyone else? Always has perfect comebacks and is dressed to kill? (literally?) I liked Nash, but I was intrigued by Jonah, who lets her be herself. ![]() I like strong heroines, but she's just so strong and confident, something that I think doesn't happen often for an early twenties girl. I think the reason that I kept reading these (note, I skipped the fourth book) is that there was a lot of potential. It must be, because there are no more (or are there? -shrug), but it felt a little open-ended. This didn't feel like an ending to a series. ![]()
